Marmalade Competition
The aim of the Festival is to promote marmalade which is an essential part of a traditional English Breakfast and to recognise the many different varieties and taste of Marmalade. We hope to encourage people to continue to practise the traditional marmalade making skills and, by introducing a category for Bed and Breakfast Marmalade, to include the tourist industry. This year the competition attracted over 400 entries, which was up on last year, this included a number of international entries, including Japan and Canada, the Canadian entry from Mrs Pugh won the Dark and Chunky category. Thanks for the great response and congratulations to all our winners.
