Cookery Book
Cookery Book –' Recipes with a CitrusTwist'
Following on from the success of the World’s First Marmalade
Festival, held at Dalemain Historic House near Penrith, in February
this year, Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland, sponsored by Carrs Breadmaker in conjunction with Cumbria Life Magazine, are launching a new cookery book of recipes using either marmalade, or any citrus fruit, as an ingredient. Recipes with a Citrus Twist features 80 mouth-watering starters, main courses and desserts - all with a hint of lemon, orange, or lime.
It also includes four fabulous recipes from Carrs Breadmaker - orange and poppy seed rolls, pissaladiere, citrus bread and butter pudding and a marmalade and white stilton loaf - all involving delicious bread made from their high-quality flours.
We have recipes from Claire Macdonald, famed Cookery Writer and Demonstrator; Nicholas Lander, who writes a weekly restaurant column for the FT Weekend supplement; Annette Gibbons, Cookery Presenter and Ivan Day, Food Historian.
The recipe book launch will be at the 2008 Marmalade Festival at Dalemain on
Sunday, 10th February. Thereafter it will be available through
Cumbria Life website (£10 plus P+P), from the Hospice at Home
Carlisle and North Lakeland shop, 3 Little Dockray, Penrith, from
Cumbrian
Newspapers offices and other selected retail outlets.
