2009 Marmalade Competition
More than 570 entries were received to
be judged in this year's competition. Each jar took its place
in 1 of the competition's 11 categories. The overall Best in Show was Mary
Hart of Morden in Surrey with her Citrus Marmalade entry.

Marmalade Festival and
Events
On Sunday 15th
February National Marmalade Day was celebrated at Dalemain. Over 800 visitors
from all over the country viewed the competition marmalade on display in the house, made use
of an advisory service and took part in tastings of the commercial entries.
Paddington Bear hosted children’s games and entertainment.
